Lower ab muscles

you cant target specific areas of the muscle to grow, but you can feel it more doing hanging leg raises just because of the hip flexors...

but if you want what bradpit has, you need decent genetics and to fix your diet and lose some fat.

for the abs - you cant target JUST the top or JUST the lower...its either all or nuttin...Yes sublime is right alot of the hanging leg lift types of ab workouts are felt in the "lower section" of the abs...

Sit-ups/crunches with legs flat target lower abs than ones with legs bent/raised, i had been spending ages with my legs bent thinking it was just a more intense workout, then realised that it wasnt at all, even though it feels like it. Leg raises work well for my lower abs.

If I read another f-ing Brad Pitt thread...................whats the deal with this homo? Sincerely, he is extremely in touch with his feminine side...........why don't you say lower abs like Milos'? Much more respect......

I think we need a Men's Health page.............

there is no such thing as training the upper and lower ab, you train all of it except the obliques when you work abs.

what is the brad pitt crap?

ad yes, the problem for lower abs is 99% fat/diet
when you get low in bf, they will show more

OK..90% diet..........you can def. target the lower abs.........matter of fact, I've really etched mine out more from a year ago, but in all, you both are correct.......

Awesome article (originally posted by B Fold): http://fitness.msn.com/articles/feeds/?dept=exercise&article=et_mh_100203_navel

from the article:

Q:How do I get a torso like Brad Pitt's?

A: Find a mad scientist, have him build a time machine, go back to the spring of 1963, and arrange to be conceived by Mr. and Mrs. Pitt. Then simply follow Brad's diet and workout routine for the next 39 years and you'll have abs just like his. I guarantee this program will work -- in fact, it's never failed to produce Brad Pitts.
