imo you should be looking to build those legs up to 30" with years of heavy full squatting before thinking about adding detail.
very few things in the gym irritate me, but seeing guys with 22" quads doing leg extensions 'to bring out the teardrops' is one of them. If you're squatting 500 for reps, cool. If not then why waste your time.
