Low Back Injury

I have a question about injuries, more specifically lower back pain. Basically I'm frustrated with the medical system because they really aren't helping. My official diagnosis is Facetal Arthritis and was brought on by years of contact in football. I played safety and wasn't shy about hitting! I came up with this idea of strengthing the muscle as best as possible and was wondering if a cycle would be beneficial. It's been over 10 years since my last cycle, but I distinctly remember Deca making my joints feel pretty good. Is this a viable option or am I just asking for more problems with this type of thinking? Also, are their any supplements worth taking for this type of injury? I've heard Glucosamine, but don't have any definite proof of it's validity. Thanks for reading!!
