Lovin' those hip shots

Anybody stick in the hip? My HRT nurse showed me where to do it. Makes sticking everyday a lot easier since it is a large area and you can hit the same hip two or three times a week if you space it out. Plus, most people can use a one inch needle.

Just below the Iliac crest - pelvic bone - just poke with your finger below it where it is soft. Plenty of muscle there. I was reading in the UK this is the preferred site for medical practitioners to give intramuscular injections (rather than the glute as it is here).

the only thing that would concern me is if it was a bad shot it would make walking impossible....i agree wil swole-bis/delts/and quads as a last resort
