Loosing Weight Too Fast?

I got this diet from my bodybuilding coach when I was in the service. He had a lot of us to train and so he kept this diet simple stupid. The results are great and FAST, but you do loose some size with it. I started doing it again last week and lost 13 lbs in the first week which is normal. By the end of the first month, I normally end up loosing about 40 lbs.

Meal 1
12 egg whites
1 cup otameal

Meal 2
Protein Shake

Meal 3
3 chicken breast
1 baked potatoe
1 cup of vegtibles
salad

Meal 4
Protein Shake

Meal 5
3 chichen brests
2 cups of vegtables (green)
salad

There are no complex carbs after 2:00p.m. and there is no eating allowed after 7:00 p.m. Also, there is absolutely no seasoning of anykind allowed. Chicken must be grilled or boiled. Now, the results are great, but you loose size and I just tested myself and I'm in ketosis even though I eat oatmeal. The problem I have is that you have very little enery, and I feel like crap half the time.
What do you guys suggest I change.
 
try adding flax to those protein shakes... I really kicked up my flax intake last week and had a great training week. I am getting calipered this Friday, so i will see if it is working against the waistline...

you might want to help us out by giving you height - weight and approximate bf% as well as target bf%

I am 5'11" and weighed 242 last monday. I weigh 229 right now and I havn't had my bodyfat checked yet. That's something I normally wait till week 4 to do. I normally drop down to 197 in order to be at the top of the light heavy-weight catagory. Also, I have only done the all natural showes and I'm 23. So, as you can see, all of this is still new to me.
 
Good luck with the contest... you might want to get your bf checked right away then weekly to get an idea of who much muscle you lost so you can decide if you want to do this diet again...
 
Looks good, take some extra fiber with that, add omega3 fat to your shakes. rink water and you will be able to go to the toilet atleast once a week LOL
