That quote just did it for me. "You really cant count them" he is exactly right i've yet to see any statistics or studies that directly link steroid use to deaths. Its always listed as a contributing factor or a possible factor. I need to write a book about "The Truth of Obesity" and how dangerous it is to someones health and how many lives it takes on an average year. It is so pathetic how the media and very uneducated people speak as if they have a doctorate from little knowledge they have of steroids. Someday probably not in my lifetime the world will wake up to steroids and the benefits of them when being used appropriately.
 
Of course I'll admit that taking massive doses of testosterone isn't the healthiest thing in the world. I know damn well it makes your blood pressure rise. My BP always goes way up on gear.
 
I think he's beyond exaggeration, and actually lying. He probably could not think of an easier way to make money and figured that if the public was so stupid as to believe Bob Goldman and Ronald Klatz, who became rich and famous (for a while) in the 80s with "Death in the Locker Room," I mean do you see a pattern here???

I read an article on him about 10 years ago from a NY paper i think. Of course my friend who didnt want me on roids cut the article out and gave it too me.lol........I think for this guy his side effects and after effects were very real for him. Compound that with the fact he has poor genetics, limited knowledge, was very reckless(nose bleeds) and has a very fragile ego to begin with and you got problems........... Just keep in mind theres alot of people on roids who are just like this guy who are always gonna blame the drugs before themselves.

Sad that this guy gets any press. I wish the press would come to me for a change.

What an dipshit - he takes steroids and now he is "outstanding fitness leader" by Reebok, and "The Best Samariton" by American Health just from stopping. Shit I can stop also, somebody give me some awards and put me on TV, give me some $$ for speaking at schools, lol. Then when I have a 12 week relapse a couple times a year they can all support me though tough times, lol.

2 highschool steroid use is bad

i was in walmart and saw 4 letterman jacketed teens buying needles
they had big muscles and lots of acne
you tell me what was going on

other than that he sounds like a drag queen :rainbow:

OK. First off the guy is a big douche and is out there trying to make money from playing into the general public's fear and ignorance of AAS.

But, what isn't bad in highschool? Drinking and drug use are "bad" in highschool. Highschool for most is a time of experimentation. Don't get me wrong, I think doing AAS in highschool is VERY stupid. But, I think it's better then drinking and doing drugs. At least with AAS there's an empasis on exercise and lifting. Also, more people die in highschool because of drinking and driving then die of AAS use.

You make good points, but you can't back that last bit up. There may be less deaths numerically, but percentage wise it's quite possible that they stack up. Possible... not certain.
 
At the end, he says, "I wasn't feeling pain, I was feeling nothing", in regard to his first year off.
