Long Story..Please read

I have had a girlfriend for 6 months now..Just a friend..We hung out i let her stay here whenever she wanted and everything treated her good..then i fouznd out she possibly has cancer..so i took care of her..then one day i get a call from the credit card company and she took my credit card and used like 2000.00 on it...her excuse was that she has the same one and she didnt know...so i let it slide...then a week later i get a call from the police and she tried to use it again...the cop asked if i wanted to press charges and i said no...then her excuse this time was her friend stole it from her....she makes me feel bad by saying she has cance and how i could treat her so badly saying she stole my credit card wtf!!!!!! and then her cousin starts textig me saying thow can u treat my cousin like this when she has cancer you make her want to die!!! why the fuck am i the bad guy here??????? what are your thoughts?

Most Girls think they are entitle to shit if you are dating. Then, you are a dick when you say they are taking advantage of you. Most guys here have been through this.

Always, have an excuse. Sick, lost job, losing home, kids, etc. And, you are a dick when you final draw a line. They use guilt, threats, etc.

Cut her out of your life. I know it is hard and you will feel guilty. But, it is the best. She stole from you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would cancel all my cards and "accidently" leave them where she can see them. Next time she tries to use a different card and the cops call bust her ass and let the cops deal with it.

If she doesn't try to use one then maybe she has stopped, but it sounds like shes trying to take advantage of you. Do you know for a fact that she has cancer? If you have only known this girl for 6 months then I would be very carefull. This whole friendship could just be a plot to take your cash!!

First step guilt. "you are going to just throw me and my kids out on the street!"

Next step threats/black mail. "I'm going to tell everyone you have aids, you raped me, you sell drugs, etc."

I know she told people I had aids.

1 - 6 MONTHS? are you sure?

2 - either you are or are not dating her, have you had sex with this woman or is she a female friend that you or she have no sexual intentions toward each other?

3 - when she said she made a mistake did she immediately offer to pay you back for what she charged? if she didn't that was the second red flag

4 - when someone loves someone they do not punish them for their disease, if anything they should understand empathy better than anyone - if not they are angry miserable people who will always be angry miserable people. 3rd flag

5 - after the second you should have pressed charged - period - you're not right so why would care to have this woman step all over you

6 - the only person you are "being bad" to is yourself

7 - find your inner hellion, press charges and get this woman and her family out of your life

8 - she saw you coming and took advantage of you and your current marital position and you being in the state you were (or are) you let your guard and allowed it to happen. 1st flag

Happens to the best of us - now fix it and move on (and please stop giving your cc out)

The first person to act and bring action against another person is always going to be "right" in other people's eyes. The first person to accuse the other of something has already won most of the battle because the other person now has to chose between defending themselves or accusing back.

Do the necessary legal work NOW. Last time I checked, having cancer is no excuse for having no morals. We got a guy on here who's dad is dying of cancer, you think that man is out there stealing and lying?

Pre-emptive strike -- get your story out and circulating first, before she has a chance to poison the well.

Pick someone that you both know, someone you respect and who respects you, call them up, and tell them all the stuff in your first post, and ask them for advice. It helps if you pick someone who can't keep a secret to save his or her life. Female preferably.

I totally see your point and that you'd be the total asshole if you made her last days like shit. Then again, how do you know she really has it? I remember a girl back in HS said that she had some sickness and we later realized that she was just using this to get attention. Why not just call her on the taking of the credit cards and ask her WTF?
