As someone who did crew in college, I cringe at almost EVERYONE I see on a rowing machine. I've seen people doing some weird ass shit, and I've seen people do things that are bound to get themselves hurt. I've been on a machine next to a guy looking like he is pulling with all his might, "rowing" faster than me, but if you look at our split times (the amount of time it would take each of us to row 500m) mine would be 20 seconds less in spite of a slower stroke rate and the fact that I'm a small female. The erg can be a GREAT power endurance machine but no one knows how to use them.
That said....that guy takes the cake lol
