Oh man. Are you playing dumb today? First off, the consultations and EF etraining is e-training! emails mostly, some calls, but with perk's english, I bet its 99% emails. But anyway...
So when bodybuilding, is your goal to put on mass, or the create some fuckting optical illusion that gives you the appearance of mass?
if so, why not just go put on a fucking puffy muscle suit and wear that shit under your clothes?
When you lift, are your goals "I wanna get my friends to all believe that I put up 300 on bench?"
or is it
"I wanna put up 300 on bench!"
Do you want the illusion of something, or the real thing?
I understand the idea here is to work out in such a way that you get the best overall asthetic appeal. So you want to make sure you have symetry and balance, that can help you to look bigger overall. But what is it we are really talking about here? Putting on lean mass, no illusions about it. Do you want 18" arms, or arms that are 16" and look 18"? Well why not 18" arms that look 20" then!
At some point you gotta be packing a bit more than an optical illusion.
