Lol @ People who drive Prius' and haul ass everywhere

letto will be mad at your bashing of her new vehicool

We're bashing the typical drivers... not the cars. It takes a certain personality to want to spend $10K extra for a hybrid that gets the same gas mileage as a 4-cyl gas car, and worse mileage than a $500 VW Rabbit Diesel. Now for those who might buy a Prius because it's a techno-geek gadget, that's different. If I buy one, I'll validate it by loading it up with all kinds of plastic trash, and driving the Prius to a wilderness campground, and using all the toxic plastic to make my campfire that night  . (Not the prius itself as the campfire; just the toxic smoke-producing plastic trash I hauled up there in it). On the way back, I'll fling a cubic yard of asbestos out the window.

I had a Hummer H2 a couple years back and some little pencil-necked idiot in a Prius comes up next to me and flips me off because Im in a Hummer. I wanted to drive over the top of them. Sure I got 10 mpg just like every pickup truck or v-8 SUV on the road.

I did some research and found out that the waste from all the batteries in the Prius do more damage to the environment than the exhaust from the Hummer.

I highly dought that.

It's a different type of pollution, so it would take complicated studies to know which is worse. But in my mind, they're both a form of pollution, and the only difference between a Hummer's consumption of crude oil, and the waste lead-acid batteries from the Prius, is that the money for the special interest groups goes to different pockets.

Fuck the eco-tards....they can all suck my nuts because I'm never going to drive something less than 6 cylinders or under 220hp....I don't give a fuck what gas costs, I'll gladly pay it.

Oh, and I don't recycle either...I toss it in the trash because it's more convenient! Especially at McDonald's with thier sortable garbage bins...like I"m gonna sift through my tray of trash and food waste and pick at it like some sanitation worker...LMAO @ anyone who does. The kooks have you trained well...dance, puppets, dance!

lol

you buy the cars with good mpg so that you can floor it in between 2 block stop signs.

I have a '09 corolla, I drive like an asshole and still get 30 mpg. It's fun. :)

It's actually pretty quick for a 4 banger.

I miss my 4.6l t-bird tho :(

It's the resources used to manufacture the batteries that is eco-unfriendly, not the end of the batteries' lifecycle. The constituent ingredients in the batteries are too precious to junk so they are recovered and reused, but mining, refining and transporting all the materials to make the new batteries is quite ungreen.
