Your tough talk doesn't scare me.

Besides, since I'm George's 'prison bitch', it would cost you more than you'll ever have.

you know you'd miss me

Its for supporting the site, not just for Karma. Its fun for everyone and its going to a good cause. Its like donating money but you get something in return.

I think mods are not in the list... and George did some other donations and super-duper deals last night while we were sleeping...

The original purpose of the karma system (as I understand it) was so when you were getting advice in the training, AAS, and diet forums (yes, we do have those forums here, amazing, i know) you could look at someone's karma and it would give you a better idea as to if they gave good advice or not. Doesn't really work like that anymore though. Yeah, sure, there are still people that give great advice and get karma for it, but for someone that's been on the site for a month or two and understands how the karma system was originally designed for, how are they to know that the person giving them advice didn't get all their karma from whoring on the C&C board?

I enjoy Karma. It's like mini-PMs. I give when it's deserved, I get when I deserve it. On that note, there's a lot of people that deserve more from me, but I have to spread, always have to spread, and I'm very slow at spreading.

WORD!!!

BTW, with the way people is buying karma, one could thing it is actually tax-deductible...

As for the argument of "to support the site"... I would say going Plat is the main support act one can do, if you feel like donating money (specially if we are talking in the 100s of US$), why not take a look at the Red-Cross, AIDS, or something like that??? Did we all forget thinks like the Tsunami in Asia or people dying like flies in Africa everyday???

Come on people, you are buying karma JUST BECAUSE it is now an open pissing contest and you want to be able to bomb Plats and so forth...

I understand supporting the site, but I thought K was there so newbies like myself could spot the "more helpful" posters. I listen to what everyone is saying in a thread, but I tend to give k a lot of weight when deciding whether to take their advice/comments seriously. I'd like to become a plat member in order to support the site, but only because I can do more in depth searches and get to the member's only sections, not because I can bomb someone for no reason or buy tons of k. I'd rather earn my k.

I didn't spend $200 on karma, but I have supported the site in a variety of ways. You all should do the same.
