Gum helps (especially cinammon or peppermint)
sugar-free hot chocolate
low-carb choc protein bars w/nat pb
but the sweet tooth still gets the better of me.. often nothing works as a substitute for the real thing... it's mostly in my head though - Stressed & upset -> go to those comfort foods. Why is there no emoticon for FAT?
Old habits die very hard.
1) Sugar free jello topped w/ cool whip
2) Pancakes made w/ oatmeal and whey protein powder w/ sugar free syrup
3) Diet cokes
4) Oatmeal w/ cinnamon, equal, and whey protein powder
5) if this doesn't work and I'm still craving on a carb up day, then I'll resort to fat free ice cream
Something I tried, but tasted like @ss is skim milk mixed w/ low cal chocolate syrup.
I really don't have a sweet tooth. I don't crave sweets like sugar or anything like that, but I do crave breads though. That's my weak spot. Like muffins, and any kind of breads, or cereals. I used to live off of cereal before I started dieting.
If you like Chinese desserts, then you might like these.
1. sugar-free jello chopped up in a bowl with protein drink poured on top. Reminds me of soy milk with some kind of glutinous rice stuff in it or something. Chocolate or vanilla whey powder mixed with water over strawberry jello seems to work.
2. low-fat tofu cut up in a bowl with protein drink poured on top. Good way to mix proteins.
