Good Q. Doofy! But I've got nada to add.
I'm a certified sugar freak and sugar-free jello has been my crutch...all flavs. Even the green.

crap Missy invaded my thread
LOL!

dont try it with designer whey, it sticks to the roof of your mouth, and you keep trying to lick it off.......no shit, it took 5 minutes to finally get it all.

So far I've only tried

Value whey vanilla and chocolate from vitaminworld (cholate is better) 20pro every 100 cals for vanilla and 120 cals for chocolate

Prostar Bannawhey (best I've had to date) 22pro every 100cals

And some shit I got handed that came from a balleys was really a meal replacement powder since it conatined 40grams of non sugar carbs.

To be honest I don't think my oppinion would help, I like them all. I actually did hate the balley stuff at first tasted so fucking sweet it was like eating creamer then all of a sudden I started craving it. It just grew on me.

The Prostar is harder to eat like that than the value whey since it has more of a floury consistancy whilst the value whey is more gritty. My friend couldn't eat either of them saying they stick to his teeth too much.

I know It used to stick to my teeth aswell but not anymore. It just takes practice eating, I'm getting to the point where I just grab the scoop and dump a shit load in my mouth now. Its hard to resist doing since I keep the tubs under my comp table. I probably should move them elseware.

I've only tasted 2 powders a didn't like

Some sort of soy powder. (wheys are sweeter than soy)
and some "Gourmet blend" someone on this board posted a link to get free protien powder if you ask for a sample.

I think the Gourmet flavor was like APPLE Cinnimin. Weird ass flavor to pick for a powder, it tasted like ass and I threw it out. No point suffering choking that down when theres plenty of good tasting powders to eat.

crave-busters

Protein pudding: sugar-free fat-free chocolate pudding mix and add it to chocolate met-rx for a post-workout pudding snack. It doesn't get as firm as with milk, but I don't mind.

Mocha: black coffee and dutch chocolate flavored isopure (along with some extra artificial sweetener).

When on a CKD I made a thick substance with protein powder and fat-spread. Tasty way to get whey protein.

cool whip fat free is my alternative to ice cream --- if I feel like it, I will eat it out of the container with a big spoon.

I've cut out all processed foods in my diet except for my postworkout meal where I have about 40-65 grams of processed carbs. At this point, almost every time I get hungry or am about to eat(especially if I haven't ate for along time and my Blood sugar is low), I just want to eat some processed food. A protein bar, MRP, bread, pasta, pizza(with the crust), whatever, just as long as it's not vegetables, flax meal, chicken or any of the other shit I've been eating the last few weeks. A crave an MRP or protein bar just as I craved pizza and doughnuts when I use to eat a high carb diet.

i used to make the protein pudding with designer protein and skim milk, but when u blend ,the air is caught, and big retention with sodium

also enock i have bought from vitaminworld last year 5lb whey container 29$ not bad but vanilla tasted like crap

Usually I will have a nice warm mug of sugar-free hot cocoa with some skim milk or some peach tea with honey. They both work for me.

I've tried it all to beat the sweet tooth.

Gum helps (especially cinammon or peppermint)
sugar-free hot chocolate
low-carb choc protein bars w/nat pb

:chomp: but the sweet tooth still gets the better of me.. often nothing works as a substitute for the real thing... it's mostly in my head though - :bawling: Stressed & upset -> go to those comfort foods. :elephant: Why is there no emoticon for FAT?
Old habits die very hard.

1) Sugar free jello topped w/ cool whip
2) Pancakes made w/ oatmeal and whey protein powder w/ sugar free syrup
3) Diet cokes
4) Oatmeal w/ cinnamon, equal, and whey protein powder
5) if this doesn't work and I'm still craving on a carb up day, then I'll resort to fat free ice cream

Something I tried, but tasted like @ss is skim milk mixed w/ low cal chocolate syrup.

I really don't have a sweet tooth. I don't crave sweets like sugar or anything like that, but I do crave breads though. That's my weak spot. Like muffins, and any kind of breads, or cereals. I used to live off of cereal before I started dieting.

mock Chinese desserts

If you like Chinese desserts, then you might like these.

1. sugar-free jello chopped up in a bowl with protein drink poured on top. Reminds me of soy milk with some kind of glutinous rice stuff in it or something. Chocolate or vanilla whey powder mixed with water over strawberry jello seems to work.

2. low-fat tofu cut up in a bowl with protein drink poured on top. Good way to mix proteins.
