In this sence, you are 100% right. music is supposed to be an art which stimulated a persons sences. nothing now adays will ever compete to any classic rock like the beatles, the stones, zeppelin, the who, etc....that was real music, and shit will never be the same...u didnt have to be on drugs to enjoy that stuff, good classic rock was a high in it of itself

Most kids are so corrupted by listening to it that they don't even appreciate real music anymore though; it's something they scoff at. It's pretty sad if you ask me.

just a few short years ago black music was country delta music
aka southern blues
now black music is completely associated with only rap or r&b
good luck to any aspiring black country artist making it, he'd be labeled a uncle tom...which is rediculous considering afro-americans largely rural american history

I really can't see anyone calling themselves the #1 rapper as they all suck as far as music goes. They rip off real musicians licks and hooks and add some talking over it and call it music. Come on, let's see one of them write, produce, play the music like Prince for one (not talking about programming a drum machine)!! No matter what you think of him he is a REAL musician! And before you say I don't know what I am talking about I have been a musician my whole life. I play many instruments and write. I was in one of the biggest bands out of Hollywood in the early 90's.
