ok first off, he is a lyrical genious... second and he clainms himself the best rapper alive since the best retired...(jay z)...and third it is more like birdman rode his coattail to the top...if it wasnt for wany. baby wouldnt be shit. he has a unique style, alot of diff meanings in his music...and u tell me one single rapper right now who is putting out as much stuf as much stuff as him and being recognized for it. some of the hardest dick riders in the game are wayne fans, with g-unit a close second.
and you apparently don't know or are too young to know the history of CMR.
baby put wayne on and is largely responsible for his rise to success.
baby was rich long before wayne was hott as a solo artist...i think CMR was founded in 1991, when wayne was like 8 or 9...hot boys/juvie/bg and turk were popping long before wayne was even 18 yrs old.
wayne's metaphors don't strike me as too awe inspiring, though i dig his deliever and swagger.
but i can think of tens of underground rappers who are light years ahead of him...of course they don't have the hardcore stans like yourself and teennyboppers behind them, and they don't have plat sales
