Lifting when sick-pros and cons

Do you to do it?

I stayed home yesterday instead of lifting, took some nyquil and stayed in bed

Personally if I'm sick I stop training... One time I had the flu and I continued lifting this caused me to stay sick for like 2 weeks where on the other hand usually in my case the flu lasts less than a week..

Yes unless extreme refunding out both ends :)
I actually feel better when I do.

Cons - U get others sick at the gym, shitty workouts (sometimes), miss out on possible needed rest

Pros - stay on track with training, u dont give yourself excuses to miss workouts, get the people u hate at the gym sick

Elite mentors and members. Can you guys help me out. Lets do our best to encourage people to put threads in the right forums. Thanks guys.

Really? I'd like to hear some more details about that. I have always read that if you're seriously sick, then its best to grab some pine for a week.

I have had something for the past 3 weeks and i've been going to the gym M-F and all my lifts are constantly going up.

Interesting pros -

Look in the end the one thing that is important is that your body must heal. If you are sick your immune system is doing its best to help you out. At the gym, you are surrounding yourself with germs and bacteria from the weights, benches etc..and now your immune system has to not only fix what is currently wrong but also help defend your body against the shit you are about to come into contact with. Take this to the next level and you could be sick longer that normal thus causing your body to need more time to recover - eventually causing you to miss more time at the gym.
