Lifting heavy and your body!!!

For my own peace of mind, let's see what "things" you guys have going on with your bodies as a result of lifting heavy. I emphasize the lifting heavy effect, not effects of any gear, you guys know what I mean.

Examples, popped blood vessels in your eyes, blood snot rockets, roids, and any girls can chime in because who knows what goes on with you guys from wrestling weights and this could get interesting?

Basically this is reassurance that the things that are happening with my body on a weekly basis are somewhat normal for folks in this sport, things have been going on getting ready for this meet and I need some peace of mind.

I have had a lot less 'everday' pain since I switched from BB workouts to PL. The injuries sustained through the lifts however are more severe at the time they happen. I always hurt my back, it appears to be my weak link...we all seem to have that one part that gives out on us first. My low back on the left side is killing me right now - two weeks out from the friggin meet!!!

I've never had the popping blood vessels, but I have felt my face swelling from the pressure on days using my Metal bench shirt. I feel lucky I guess over all.

I am always tearing up my shins and hands with the bars. I am bruised and battered all over from my strongman comp. Haven't popped any bloodvessels in a while, but think it looks pretty cool when my eye is all red.LOL I love it though, it's great to see peoples reactions when they ask for help moving stuff and I just pick it up and ask where they want it. My knees and shoulders feel so much better than when I was trying to do BB.

mostly just a broken blood vessel here and there, bad back or a pulled muscle. nothing major.
I've been having some abdominal muscle cramping lately- i've had it before and it HURTS, but its nothing to worry about.
 
Shins permanently scabbed. There's always some tendon or ligament in my arms aching. Lower back aching or between aches.

My favourite is getting up from the bench to see my Mr. Tomatohead impression in the mirror.

I can't wait for when I'm actually strong. :)
 
no popped blood vessels a few bloody noses..ham and low back tightness
i have chronic elbow tendonitis the doesnt allow me to really do direct beicep work...lol yeah i know how WSB stresses doing your bi's

i really wish it would go away since it prevents me from really gripping the bar hard at times
 
Dropped 245 on my chest warming up one time, broke several ribs, while healing up if I had to sneeze, oh man. Elbows sore one place or another, one side or another. Always something, blew a shirt once and hurt my back when it went at the bottom. No blood yet.
