But there were two other issues here.

1) Staging a protest or demonstration solely to cause someone else grief shouldn't be protected.

2) That dead solder wasn't a public figure. They had no business singling him out.


I don't like fatties. But that still doesn't give me the right to single-out one randomly obese person and scream obscenities at them (even at a distance) anytime they walk in public.

By this ruling, fattie wouldn't be able to get that restraining order (maybe a very weak one, at best). My obscenities at him are political commentary on the stress that obesity places on our already overtaxed social healthcare system. also of interesting note is everywhere in the constitution, the phrase "the people" means individuals, but for some reason in the 2A it supposedly means a collective right instead of individual right.

I thought Kansas had already implemented a law requiring protesters at funerals to remain 150 feet away?
