But Dan Duchaine before writing articles WAS a hardcore bodybuilder. He lived the lifestyle. And he tried every single one of his concoctions. And no pamphlet I ever saw or will see will come close to his "Dirty Dieting Newsletters". Those where work of sheer genius.

Dr. Phil only appeals to the masses, who just happen to be very overweight, depressed, and taking a veritable panoply of very addictive anti-depressants, and who are about an inch away from just calling it quits. What Dr. Phil gives them is NOT knowledge BUT moral support, which the people that go to him or read him don't get from their family or peers(most likely the opposite). We on the other hand, have these boards to help each other through tough times.

Back when Dan Duchaine wrote his column "Ask the Guru" for Muscle Media 2000, he admitted several times to rarely working out. In fact, he looks like he's never seen a barbell.

I'm not tearing him down. He was truly an intelligent human, but not a hardcore bodybuilder.

Bump again for those articles that you claimed you wrote in scientific journals and publications. Come on Nelson, post up the link. Inquisitive minds want to know!

I thought we had a bet going? I offered to do it privately, you wanted it public. So lets go big mouth. Give your name and phone # and put your money where your mouth is.

Sigh. The funny thing is, I use my real name so only a cretin would be so adamant about trying to bust someone whose published works are a matter of public record. Can you make a bigger jackass of yourself? I don't think so.

Then post them up! Stop beating around the bush and come out with it already. If you really did have articles written in scientific journals or publications you would have proudly posted them by now knowing the size of your ego. Face it Nelson, you're a fraud and an incompotent and have no business writing books about anything let along trying to sell them for $39 a pop. LOL.

this is pointless. nothing is gained by any of this.

I think everyone on this board would agree with you. But Big Bad (alias Juice Authority) has nothing better to do with his life so expect it to continue. I, on the other hand, refuse to acknowledge any more of his posts.

There you go again Nellie. Grabbing at straws. Maybe next you'll accuse me of being Big Cat?

That was in 2000.

What not many people new was that he had to give up AAS and weights due to a congenital kidney defect. This same defect led to his death. He did workout before.

True, and unlike what I read elsewhere on Elite (I can't remember where) steroids did not cause his kidney problems, Duchaine had what Fonz said - a congenital kidney defect (polycystic kidney disease) which he was born with.

It sucks. I miss his writings. He was an interesting dude.
