You often boast about being a "celebrated" autor. lol. Anyway, you've made references in the past to being published in scientific journals and publications. Aside from T-Mag, which certainly doesn't qualify, lol, where might I find one of those articles? What journals? What publications? If you ignore this question or try to avoid it by making some reference to me being Fonz then the answer will be obvious - none exist.

In all seriousness Nelson, WHAT JOURNALS, WHAT PUBLICATIONS?? Do I need to show you where you claimed this? In fact, I believe it was a sticky for a few days back when 2Thick was a Mod. How about it Nelson? Please enlighten us...

Science ------> None He holds no degrees in anything

Real Life ------> If his book is correct he has done maybe 4-5 cycles, each very short in length.

His only credentials is that he knows some people in the industry who give him good reviews. God knows why.

The ironical part about all this is that Nelson came into EF screaming bloody murder at the supplement companies, and how they were scamming us.

Well, as a guy who has taking marketing, finance, and accounting...this is what we refer to as scaring the masses into thinking they are buying inferior or bogus products.

You then introduce your own designed line of supplemments touting them off as the next best thing an screaming at the top of your lungs that you would never do what the supplement companies do to the consumers.

And so you create a small niche in the market for your products.

It's all very simple. Any 1st or 2nd year business student will tell you the exact same thing.

It's funny, being banned has made me much more analytical of what Nelson does. I have no need to flame or discredit him, I just sprout very precise facts in order to show people why Nelson does what he does.

i'd refrain from any ( i say ANY ) WWW credentials.
Why?
Hey, i can tell you i am triple PH.D in ytctykjgbuioyvyuvyuuiyiubiuyniooiup.
What would you know?
If i sound a moron to some, it makes no difference i do have a Ph.D.
If i make sense, the Ph.D is not needed.

On other boards i caught people ( self proclaimed gurus ) in a web of lies.
One once claimed he was nuclear engineer in charge of a nuclear plant + assembling powered robot prosthetics in his free time.
Yea right.
Got caught for being just a community college freshman.

Another boasted " shadow connections" & claimed not to piss him off, else he'd turn our lives upside down. He claimed to be a financial wiz, 6 figures income, living in a royal suite in an european capital...
Got caught for being an high school teacher in some rotten borough in eastern europe.

So much for WWW credentials.
I am the long lost son of Emperor Hirohito, my net worth is 5000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 dollars; i got 40' "thing"; i am triple Ph.D in biochemistry, philosophy & sex theraphy...

Nelson is a superb self-promoter. There's no question about that. The King of Controversy, as he likes to be called, must at least raise some suspicion as to his motives in what he says and how he says it. Any attention is good attention. Controversy sells and Nelson has mastered the art of being a contrarian regardless of the quality or accuracy of the content. This draws attention to his ideas and in some cases results in a book sale.

Ooh this is EXTREMELY important. I mean, look at the GURU Dr. Phil! He has some impressive credentials, doesn't he? Gee, let's all follow his advice like sheep!

Funny thing is I don't remember Dan Duchaine having better credentials than any "Bodybuilding Expert" out there now, but I can't think of ONE person that is more often quoted and referenced regarding gear.

Enough of these ridiculous debates.

But Dan Duchaine before writing articles WAS a hardcore bodybuilder. He lived the lifestyle. And he tried every single one of his concoctions. And no pamphlet I ever saw or will see will come close to his "Dirty Dieting Newsletters". Those where work of sheer genius.

Dr. Phil only appeals to the masses, who just happen to be very overweight, depressed, and taking a veritable panoply of very addictive anti-depressants, and who are about an inch away from just calling it quits. What Dr. Phil gives them is NOT knowledge BUT moral support, which the people that go to him or read him don't get from their family or peers(most likely the opposite). We on the other hand, have these boards to help each other through tough times.

Very well put Fonz.

My main point is that formal credentials are not the be-all-end-all, as seen with Duchaine.

I made everything up.

As a matter of fact, I don't even exist.

Perhaps at some point.
I did get Dan's stuff ages ago.
It didn't turn my life upside down.
HOWEVER
Many have for a long time pointed out the "few inaccuracies" in his writings...or more than a few...and boards rebound and abound of people posing as if ( see my statement about WWW credentials above ) they had been mixing, matching & chowing down any&every AAS/prescription med possible, alone or in tag teams.
The least i can say: not the kind of person i'd entrust my health to...
i might ask a dirty as hell, worn out drug addict sleeping in a trailer in the back of trash can with as much success.

Montana is a columnist.
nothing more than that.
why should he be disparaged compared to Brink, Titus or any other columnist?
Do you want white coats & Ph.D, then go to MT website.

Any news are mostly old news.

What journals, what publications?? Come on Nelson, I have faith in you. Surely you can bust one just ONE article, can't you???

Do you have any idea what an idiot you look like Fonz?

Tell you what; PM me with your real name and I'll make you a personal bet of $1000 as to whether I can produce a published work.

It doesn't matter. You'll find some problem with it. You won't believe it or discredit it. That's because you're a nobody. A nothing. And that's what nobodys do. Mark Chapman knew people would pay attention to him if he killed John Lennon and in his sick mind, attention of any kind was better than being ignored. And losers are ignored. That's why they love the internet. They can keep coming back with new names, and hide behind their screens while they attack. The ultimate cowards/losers.

Let's presume for a minute Big Bad isn't Fonz. Okay. What are YOUR credentials?

The truth is this, Fonz. I was discussing steroid cycles with Dan Duchaine back when you were still asking if you could use a cattle implants to inject fina.

And if all I've ever done was get one sentance published, that would be one more sentance than you.

Nelson Montana said:

I'll book that bet but why keep it private?? Why not let the readers know which journals and publications they can find your work? BTW, T-Mag doesn't count. The funny thing is that a joke publication/magazine like T-Mag even fired your ass for incompetence!

You don't want to keep it private? Fine. State your real name, address and and telephone number and we'll set it up.

Bump for those articles?? Come on Nelson, just give the crowd one article out of a scientific journal or publication. Surely you have just one reference you can share....don't you??

Ok, Nelson. LOL. I'm a private citizen, not some Internet message board book pimp whore. I would be happy though to send my funds to a third party to hold in an escrow account while you try to fabricate some reference to one of your article in a "scientific" journal or publication. LOL. You are a nobody Nelson. On most boards you're held up to ridicule where you and your ideas (actually other people's ideas passed off as your own) are discredited.

Back when Dan Duchaine wrote his column "Ask the Guru" for Muscle Media 2000, he admitted several times to rarely working out. In fact, he looks like he's never seen a barbell.

I'm not tearing him down. He was truly an intelligent human, but not a hardcore bodybuilder.

Bump again for those articles that you claimed you wrote in scientific journals and publications. Come on Nelson, post up the link. Inquisitive minds want to know!

I thought we had a bet going? I offered to do it privately, you wanted it public. So lets go big mouth. Give your name and phone # and put your money where your mouth is.

Sigh. The funny thing is, I use my real name so only a cretin would be so adamant about trying to bust someone whose published works are a matter of public record. Can you make a bigger jackass of yourself? I don't think so.

Then post them up! Stop beating around the bush and come out with it already. If you really did have articles written in scientific journals or publications you would have proudly posted them by now knowing the size of your ego. Face it Nelson, you're a fraud and an incompotent and have no business writing books about anything let along trying to sell them for $39 a pop. LOL.

That was in 2000.

What not many people new was that he had to give up AAS and weights due to a congenital kidney defect. This same defect led to his death. He did workout before.

True, and unlike what I read elsewhere on Elite (I can't remember where) steroids did not cause his kidney problems, Duchaine had what Fonz said - a congenital kidney defect (polycystic kidney disease) which he was born with.

It sucks. I miss his writings. He was an interesting dude.

I personally feel the same about Nelson Montana; he's interesting and I enjoy his writings, in his forum, and in his books.

I don't give a flying rat's ass if he's ever been published in a scientific journal, Men's Journal or Ladies Home Journal for that matter. He doesn't have to have a Phd, or the sanction of a couple pissy-assed bitches with nothing beneficial to contribute in this forum. Please stop dragging this medium down, get your own forum topic and spew your acrimony there.

Dude, you got the wrong guy. I like Nelson's writings as well. That's why I'm here. The "pissy-ass bitch" you speak of is Big Bad Buff. He needs therapy. Maybe he'll get some and get the hell out of here.

Evolution, I quoted you to agree with your point. And you are correct, the 'Pissy-asses' are BBB, Fonz or whoever (s)he is today.

Sorry for the confusion.

Thats some good EDUMACATION right there. For someone who claims to be such a pundit Fonz, I would have expected you to at least know some fundamentals of marketing. What does accounting or finance have to do with this awesome reference you provide? is that just a display of how LEARNEDED you are?

now go off on your rant about how everyone is fat and stupid.

LOL. Actually I think it's the same voice in two seperate heads, which is even scarier.

fatmaster: I didn't see where Fonz posted that. So now he's an expert on marketing too?

The funny thing is, it sounds like he got that information from my book. I do an expose' on the supplement business and the tactics they use. If he's accusing me of doing the same thing, then I'm the worlds worst business man because I'd been writing in the field for over 10 years before I ever made a dime on any supplement. I also recommend several products and companies of which I collect no royalties.

The truth of the matter is, if I wanted to sell just anything for money, it would be pretty easy. But I won't profit from what I don't believe in and I've had the chance, many times.

Even when it came to the ZIP formula I wanted to make it caffeine free even though it would have been easy to disguise it by using Guarana or some such caffeine laden herb. The user would certainly "feel" more of a boost, and there'd be a better chance of bigger sales, but I said "NO." Caffeine spares carbohydrates and that would be counterproductive to the purpose of the supplement. I don't think there are too many people in the supplement business who could make the same claim. That's because I never set out to sell supplements. I was simply asked to design some formulas from what I've found to be the best ingredients. That's a big difference from what Bill Phillips, or T-Mag or some other people and companies do.

I have no idea who BBB is. Wherever Fonz is, it's Fonz. I don't hide behid alter's. Never have and never will. Also funny how this new guy truing to insinuate this has such a small amount of posts. From that one can only come to one conclusion that he came over just to stirr up drama because he has nothing better to do.

How sad.

Nelson: its posted on the first page of this topic.

Fonz:
actually i've been reading your bullshit for far too long fonz, and i'm pretty sick of it. My old account was canceled because I left elite for more than 3 weeks and cause I'm too cheap to pay for something I could get for free.

I dont know the whole story of why you got your mod status removed, but since we (and by we, I mean you) like to talk about things (and by things I mean marketing, or life in general) we dont know about, I can only assume it means that people thought you caused to much shit, or you were up to your old tricks of editing anyone's posts who disagreed with you, and yet I have nothing better to do but stir up drama. How many meaningful posts have you made as of late?

I wasnt going to say anything, but your so called knowledge of business just was the last straw. I know its been said before, probably out of jest, But in all sincerity I think you need to get some mental help, and work on your social skills, Son.

Nelson -

You are actually the laughing stock of the supplement industry. Go talk to anyone that is above average in intelligence about some of your (I mean other people's) ideas and see what they say. You are nothing but a marketeer of other people's ideas. They only difference is the manner in which you present them. It's all about the hype with you. The more attention you can draw from your posts the better. What would you do you if it weren't for Internet message boards like this? You would starve! These are your only customers! It's not like I can walk into Barnes n Noble and purchase your book or any other bookstore for that matter. LOL. No, your only sales comes from people that are impressed with the contrarian way in which you present other people's ideas. That too will soon change.

BBB is a very valuable asset to this forum. If nothing else he is a "contrarian" to the "contrarian" wisdom around here. BBB should stay!

BBB IS JUICE AUTHORITY.

He does not offer any contrarian views. He just harasses.
Come on macro, tell me that's not the truth.

BTW: IP addreses mean nothing. Many people share the same IP and the same person can use different computers.

BBB is who?? Is that another one of your fans? BTW, I didn't realize you had a technical background. I think what you meant to say is that anyone can relay through a proxy server. Using different computers doesn't translate to different IPs! Using different servers means different IPs. If I have 6 computers networked together they all have the same IP address. Ahhhh, Nelson you learn something new everyday...

and big bad buff, just because you have 6 computers networked together doesnt necessarily mean they all have the same IP address.

Nelson is right having an IP doesnt mean jack, I know for a fact this board / vbulitin doesnt even look for HTTP forward.

everyone needs to chill with the name calling, its hurting my balls.

I've read many of Nelson's articles in Muscle Mag International.

Nelson just stays on this board now, why keep on with this flame? If he bothers you so much, stick to the other boards. This is his little section of elite, not yours. Go elsewhere if all you want to do is stir the pot.
