Lethargy & steroids

RADAR

Well-known member
today I was asked this question, and i thought it deserved some attention, especially since there has not been alot of tests or Bloodwork posted on the board to warrent what causes Lethargy.
since i train alot of members that have type 2 diabeties its not uncommon to let your Blood Glucose slip too low .glucose levels are a small part of the picture. you can eat all day and still feel lethargic on certain drugs. on the contrary those with strong androgenic properties will give you great energy so its all about cns augmentation through androgenic receptor(DHT)/e2,You have to be careful - as we know, it is not good to pump pure sugar in, just to raise glucose levels unless you are going hypo. The effects will be too short, and overall, it is not a good thing for body building.

It is better to up the complex carbs, like oatmeal, and maybe some mid GI foods like potatoes if you BG is too low.just to show how tricky this situation can get, Today I felt Great Took all my supplements,Power Chews,Attack,Dieselbolin,HGH,Ipamorelin,IGF lr3, no excess lethargy. Went to the gym, had a great workout. Came back here, was hungry, Had a hi Calorie protein shake. About 30 minutes later lethargy hit me almost immediately along with what seems to be a rise in body temperature, an almost sure sign of enhanced anabolism in this situation... Or so I believe.

I mean, with a large amount of low-GI carbs 30 minutes before, I shoulda been just great, right? Could it be lack of estrogen?Hard to say without bloodwork.Anyway.....
Went and ate a small serving of homemade blueberry pie sweetened with organic maple syrup. YUM!! 10 minutes later, much less lethargic, and a little bit of a pump happening.

could it be that some AAS mimic the effect of test enough to keep you from feeling lethargic? The funny thing is i have never seen anyone say "was feeling lethargic during my cycle so i started drinking dextrose koolaid and it was fine" and i have never seen anyone recommend to someone who was feeling lethargic on cycle that they should do something to up their blood sugar. Im not saying that hypoglycemia isnt the answer, but if it were that simple wouldnt it be common knowledge by now that to combat on cycle lethargy you just need carbs?

Lets hear some opinions from the rest of you guys :)

Interesting talking point RADAR.

I carb up slightly before the gym and then after the gym I feel better than I did all day. (I train at night so I can't comment on hours later post gym). I've been feeling rather lethargic lately as well - sometimes androgens just seem to have that affect regardless of blood sugar I think, but I am sure that could certainly play a part in that feeling.

Oatmeal, potatoes, whole weat pasta, whey protien shake made with a poweraide pwo and another nice meal a hour later..... I feel like a king!

I think i understand what ur saying, im on some deca now and if i dont eat that well i still feel good but not king like good.

Bros I feel maybe almost as ambitious as a flat tire.
Right now my cycle is this,
Drol 50mg/week
Test 500 mg/week
Deca 200mg/week
NPP 300 mg/week
Also am on GHRP-6
Not hungry at all, have to force feed. Never ever had this in my life. Have always been a huge eater.
This is the first Blast of a 12 month Blast and Cruses Mass project.

Great info Radar, I also work out at night , so I do not usually have any issues, however I eat like a madman during the day.

Ok right after my above post I took a tea spoon of honey.
As of now am feeling like I might wanna do something other then sit on my ass...
