I understand this my seem like a silly statement to make, but please comments on if this could work.
I have decided its about time to change my training style, previously I have been pushing as heavier weight as I can with the help of my training partner with great effect, but my gains have slowed down. After evaluating my training I have put it down to my training partner helping me to much.
So for the last week I have decreased the weight I am lifting, but focusing on me doing 7 to 8 out of the 8 reps, using my training partner only for the last rep if I can. Really focus on squeezing the muscle.
My chest and bicep workout consists of 2 sets Flat dumbbell, 2 sets Incline barbell and 1 set dumbbell fly's. Followed by 2 sets Ez standing barbell curl, 1 set hammer curl, 1 set seated preacher curl. All hitting failure, by the time i finished i was extremely pumped, felt like i could not of pushed another weight.
From peoples opinion will this style of training push me over that plateau?
