Leg Training Question

I wanted to know if this would be ok to do on my next bulking cycle coming up soon. I wanted to know if doing legs twice a week would be ok? I was thinking about doing legs on Monday and then again on Thursday.Yes? no? I want my legs to kick ass!
 
i dont see why not, i used to do them twice a week, but my legs are too big for the rest of my body now, so i cut down to once a week. Just dont absolutly destroy them every time you do them, so you dont overtrain. Or you could try splitting up hams and quads. squat, leg press, leg extension on monday, SLDL's and leg curls on thursday.

just make SURE you do HEAVY SQUATS. they are the key to big legs.

Right, but I don't want to " try " it out only to see my legs not growing as big as I want them too. And then wonder why they are not growing. Could it be because I'm training them twice a week? Could it be because I'm not eating enough? Could it be because I'm not juicing enough or training hard enough? I want what works...not guessing. Someone told me that twice a week would be overkill. Not enough time to let the legs grow before blasting them again with weights. Another told me as long as I juice....all will be good.

i understand but we are all different and for me to tell you yes it will work or no it wont work..would be wrong..the body is able to withstand alot of stress over the short run add AAS to that mix and hitting them 2x per week might be ok while on cycle..il have to look for it but i hae an old russina squat routine where you squat 2x per week its alot of work but you will not need additional leg work if you follow this routine
 
I've done that 2nd 3X/weekly routine in the past...nice.

Different things work for different people. There are many training programs that have decent scientific backing too (ex HST, 5x5) I think that legs can be trained 2x per week for sure. However, the only way I'm capable of doing this is like what was said earlier in the post. Splits - Quads / Hams+Calves. Also, don't look at training like each cycle has to be a week. I don't know why most people do that. For example - The routine that works best for me is - [3on-1off-3on-2off]-[3on-1off-3on-2off] etc...

Man I would like to see a study that takes an individual and has him do the same relative workouts then measures soreness as a direct function of food intake. If you wanna get crafty you could make it multivariable and throw in sleep as well. It can be done......
