National socialism was nothing more than a belief in strong central government and state control of the economy. What part of that political philosophy do you find objectionable?

Liberals toss around these terms with little to no comprehension of what they are saying. Naziis were evil, republicans are evil, therefore republicans are nazis.

National socilaism is completely incompatible with republican political philosophy. Ironically enough it is the goal of every liberal thinker.

You cannot grant those benefits to one couple and turn around and refuse them to another. Many conservatives seem to have a problem with the sanctity of marriage although who knows why That's fine, call it a union or whatever you want but they must be given the opportunity to qualify for the same benefits you and I can.

Fair enough but by being against gay marriage or gay unions you are essentially admitting that not everyone should be treated equally.
