Lean+ (has anyone used this fat burner?)

I was wondering about taking "Lean+" as a fat burning supplement while I get back in shape for soccer.
Here's the ingredients...

Two (2) capsules of Lean+ contain the following herbal extracts:

Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) from Garcinia cambogia...500mg
Citrus aurantium (Bitter orange) (6% synephrine)...325mg
Grapefruit juice powder...200mg
Coleus forskohlii (10% forskholin)...100mg
Cayenne...100mg
Gugulipid (2% guggulsterones)...75mg
Alpha lipoic acid (99% pure)...50mg
Green tea (50% polyphenols) 350mg
(provided by 3.5mg of a 100:1 extract)

There is no ephidrine or Ma Huang in it (which I like, because I have enough trouble sleeping as it is!). I need to get rid of about 8 pounds of fat in 2 months, and maintain muscle mass (I can't lose any strength).
Any comments on the above fat burner (Lean+) or others would be appreciated.
BTW - I train (with weights) 3 times a week and do cardio (20 minute jog) 3 times a week.

Thanks

it looks ok but i would buy extra ALA and take up to 800-1000mgs a day. ALA will help push out extra glycogen from the liver which is good if your trying to reach ketosis. it is also good for insulin production support. The fat burner that your looking at is nothing special and should help you out if your diet and workout plan are on track. below are some good explanations of the benefits of ALA by other Elite members.

It [ala] will increase sensitivity to a point were most excess dietary carb "spillage" will be shuttled into you muscles as glycogen.

W/o ALA this is how the insulin-glucose realtionship works.

a) You eat carbs+whatever
b) Insulin is released into the blood-stream by the pancreas
c) glucose and amino-acids from your meal are shuttled
into both miocytes and adipocytes.

Now, lets look at a meal w/ALA

a) same as above
b) same as above

Now HERE is the difference:

c) ALA has improved glucose up-take into the miocytes.

So, when glucose and amino acids enter the blood
stream and are pushed by insulin into the cells
the amount of glucose+amino acids entering the muscle cells
is increased. This leads to more nutrients entering the muscle
cells and less "nutrients"(LOL) entering the fat cells.
This is just not the case w/o ALA.

What this basically means is that ALA has a nutrient
partitioning effect which over time will reduce fat-gain
in favour of muscle gain.

AND, ALA is INDEPENDENT of Insulin levels.
It has ZERO effect on them, so it doesn't reduce
the anti-catabolic effects of insulin.
