I went to school with his kids....he lived about 2 blocks away from me. they were the only black kids in the entire school lol.

The media is totally fucking this story up. The headlines read "LT rapes 15 year old girl"...then they realized they fucked up and changed it to 16 years old.
then when you actually read the article, it says it was statutory rape. Quite a big difference.
If you actually read the story, what's pretty likely is that he called an escort service (his addiction to hookers is well documented) and the girl happened to be underaged. I guarantee you he had no idea about this...and I bet she did have sex with him with for money, not actually raped her like she said he did.She says she was given the money and then he raped her? really? you take $300 in a hotel room and just except to talk?
The real scumbag in this is the guy who basically pimped out this runaway girl in what ended up being pretty much a sex slave/trafficking incident.
when the news first broke, the spotlight was solely on LT..with a tiny snippet about the "pimp", even though the media outlets knew about it. not saying LT is a saint, but i doubt he was the real monster in this.

What's the age of consent in the US? it's 16 in the UK, not that it makes prostitution legal (although it is legal in various other places in Europe).
