you should be able to work around your injury.
is it your rotator cuff? if so, just eliminate the upward movement of arms above your shoulders. thats where the pain usually starts if im not mistaking. you should go lighter and if its not a permanent injury needing surgery, it will heal.
 
I don't know what the situation is with your shoulders but I fucked my at boxing an it was a bitch to lift any thing but I persivered, lifting the heavest I could before my shoulder was affected an used a slow controlled motion. I don't think it matters how heavy you lift as long as you do as many as possible!
