KILLED THAT SHIT!!! 3 new PRs today

On my last two weeks of my 3rd HST cycle now and started negatives today. Was a little worried about trying Deadlift Negs in good form so just went heavier,..and heavier,...and heavier!!

NEW PRS:

:chomp: Deadlift 2 X 5 @ 450lbs 4-5 sec negative :chomp: SHIT KILLED!! Felt like I coulda done even more!! (old 1 rep PR was 430)

:chomp: Vertical Leg Press 1 X 5 @ 700lbs 4-5 sec neg with knees to chest :chomp: SHIT KILLED!! (old 5 rep PR was 660)

:chomp: Incline DB Bench 2 X 5 W/ 110lb dbls 4-5 sec neg :chomp: (done with super strict form in Frank Zane fashion from an older post by Punch, "Training with Frank Zane") SHIT KILLED!!

KILL THAT SHIT!!!

Thanks Eat Big! Still feelin' pumped & feelin like I could go back to the gym right now and KILL a 500# Deadlift!!

Dont ya just love those days at the gym when ya feel like nothin can stop ya?!?! Just knew when I got to the gym today that it was gonna be a killer day!!

Feelin 500 comin' soon on Deads!! Felt like I coulda KILLED THAT SHIT yesterday, training partner & I pretty much max on all lifts the same, both of us hit the same PR's together yesterday,..when I told him lets go higher for a 1rep PR on Deads, he was already basically wiped so we let it be,...for now.

STRIVING DAILY TO KILL THAT SHIT!!!
 
Ok,..someone hit me!! :smash: Was feelin pumped yesterday and ready to KILL SOME MORE SHIT even before I got to the gym. Brought my new digital camera with me for some pics. Have heard over and over (especially in here)and am even guilty of sayin' it myself, "Its all in yer mind". NOT

Well my mind was set on tryin a 500 lb Deadlift yesterday for a single rep after breaking my old Dead PR last Monday. Was totally pumped and had a killer warm-up, camera ready, mind ready.....Got it about two inches off the floor and my body said, "FUUUUUUCK YOU!!!" :doublefi:

Totally ruined my day, not to mention the rest of my workout, everything was fucked,..think I shocked the shit outta my NS. :freak:

Gonna take 9 days off now for some Deconditioning then start over. Maybe another go at 500 for a 1 rep max in another few months. But till then goin' back to the lighter weights for another HST cycle.

Will continue to Drive that KILL THAT SHIT creed for the rest of the administration. But for me I'll just keep to the KILLIN' OF THIS THAT AND VARIOUS OTHER SHITS for now.

Once I get this Digi Camera thing figured out along with how to post pics in here. I'll take some progress pics to back my shit up. SOME KILLER PICS BY THE WAY BEAST!!! Yer lookin' good Brah'!!

Dont let it discourage you! All the failures will drive you to success. Youre very close now. Its just a matter of time. Ill often max every week until I get a weight, and if that doesnt work after many weeks, Ill usually switch up the training to focus more on reps. With the deadlifts though, I always maxed. EVERY WEEK. Not only that, but I maxed on atleast 2 deadlift variations. Either off the rack or the floor and often Id max on beast lifts and deadlifts. Beast lifts are my version of the dead, where the bar is behind the legs. I did this for over 14 months. Im not reccomending it though. Im SURE it contributed to fucking up my back! haha My back and deadlift session were 6-8 hours as some might remember. I made it into an entire day. It was really a vent for me. I loved the rush. Looking back I would have liked to have trained differently, and not rushed it so much. Its very hard for me to train anything less then ALL OUT KILLING THAT SHIT!! This is why I pulled out my back over 10 times since my main back injury a year ago. I tried to either deadlift heavy again or T-bar row, even when I knew shit would pop. haha So it might be a good idea to change the training up a little. I did get ALOT stronger maxing every week though!! haha ThanX for the kind words brother!! Ive been trying to make some big improvements. Ive been FURIOUS to get back into it again after that back injury a year ago, and am still FIRED up to KILL THAT SHIT!! Before that back injury it took me 4 years to gain an inch on my arms. So Im extremely driven at this point! KEEP KILLING THAT SHIT!!
 
Thanks Beast!! You are an inspiration,....but I think my 36 yr old body sent a clear message the other day,..still feeling the effects even today. 500 will drop for sure,..but I'm gonna wait till the end of my next HST cycle.

For adding Mass HST works best for me right now, and thats my current goal.
May go through another Westside Routine using bands and chains after this next HST cycle.

KEEP KILLIN' THAT SHIT FOR ME BROTHA!! I'm behind ya 100%
