KILLED SOME MORE SHIT!! 5lbs Til 400!!

Just hit 395 on flat bench today. Another step towards 400-405. ThanX for all the encouragement everyone!! And KEEP KILLING THAT SHIT!! Heres the exerpt from my journal:

11-4-04 Thursday Chest,Speed Bench and Abs (KILLED THAT SHIT!! 5lbs til 400!!)

As a minister of "Kill That Shit" I must KILL THAT SHIT at every waking moment. The joints in my shoulders were quite sore today, but I was hungry to move some weight. Instead of concentrating on reps today I focused on one rep max. Even when my shoulder joints are sore, it doesnt seem to effect my one rep max much, but it does effect the reps sometimes. I got 395 on the first attempt fast off the chest, with some slowdown towards lockout. All in all KILLED SOME MORE SHIT and am one step closer to 400 and 405. Also did some one-armed machine flies with the stack (200lbs) for 15 reps. Felt pretty good to finish off. Heres the routine:

(198lbs before meals,clothes on, on the gym scale) ("Speed Stack", granola bar)

It sounds to me like you will have 405 within a month. Also looks like 200LB bodyweight is about a month away too!

ThanX alot brother!! I remember that was my goal last year!! haha 405 by december! It would have been close if I hadnt torn my back apart with 2 consecutive injuries in the same week, in november. Good to be back stronger!! Still miss those fucking deadlifts though!! Keep KILLING THAT SHIT BROTHER!! 405x10 for you and 405 on the inclines in the near future!!

ThanX alot brother!! It really is getting down to the mental aspect now!! haha Especially since theres only 5lbs left til 400 and 10 til 405. My training partner benches 445 at 185 raw, but still doesnt put 4 plates on the bar. He puts 3 45's on each side, 2 25's on each side and a 10,5, and 2.5 on each side. Says it fucks with his head. When I hit 405 I want to hear and see 4 plates rattling, as I blast that shit off my chest. Then and only then, can I begin the quest to 500 raw!! Keep KILLING that shit yourself!!

ThanX alot brother!! Im still furious about those back injuries a year ago!! So Im training as if Im possessed!! haha Im very motivated to KILL 405 now and I expect it will be very soon. 400 should be next week!! I may even get 400 and 405 in the same day. Doesnt usually happen that way for me though, but I always go all out. Never can know what to expect!! When I can taste blood, like I can now, theres no telling what will take place!! That shit is taunting me!! Ive wanted this for so many years, and now the time has come to DESTROY that shit!! Im off the M1T for the next 2 weeks, so if I dont hit it now, Im sure I will when I go back on for another brief low dose (5mg) cycle, which will be after the 2 week off period. ThanX again brother!! Keep KILLING that shit yourself!!

ThanX alot brother!! Seems like my routines over the years have built alot of muscle endurance. On one of my repetition routines I still managed 2 sets of 25 reps with 225 on my 13-14th set of flat bench. The one rep maxing cuts my reps back with the 275 and 315 considerably, but doesnt seem to effect the 225 sets much. Maybe Id get alot more reps if I did it fresh, but I dont focus on PR's with 225 anymore. Not even 275. I like to hit 315 and 335 for rep PR's lately. Thats why I always need such a high workload to get any type of results. I beleive the more a muscle can take, the more it needs to be overloaded. ThanX again for the kind words!! As for the 200lb bodyweight, I hit that a few weeks ago, but my bodyweight always fluctuates. It also depends on the scale. I was 200lbs even today on the grocery store scale with light clothing on. I was 191lbs when I hit 315x10 (9 3/4) so I dont need to be real heavy to hit 405. Im always trying to gain weight though. More so then weight I look to gain inches and strength. Weight gains are MUCH slower for me. TRAIN OR FUCKIN DIE!!

ThanX for all the encouragement brother!! Im definately planning on it this time!! Last year I was planning to hit it on december but got majorly sidetracked by those 2 back injuries on one week. Nothing stands in my way at the moment!! If it did, Id have to KILL THAT SHIT!! Sure brother, just KEEP KILLING THAT SHIT!!

ThanX alot brother!! Much appreciated!! I hit some rack lockouts the other day and got 545 for 5 reps. I couldve kept going heavier but didnt have much time, and was alot of pressure on the wrists. Felt good on the triceps though. All in all, including the rack lockouts, I hit 20 sets for triceps. I think that and speed bench will help with hitting 405. Keep KILLING that shit brother!!

speed bench will help you build explosion. a lot more if you get some bands. the mini's work great for speed bench. what i like about the bands on speed work is that they force you to explode all the way through because they add more resistance as you get the bar farther off the chest (called accomodating resistance) instead of using momentum (coasting) through the top of the lift.
you can pick up a set for $20.

Another failure with 400 today. The strange thing is 375 felt really light and just flew up on my warm-up. Regardless!! Ive started M1T again tonight, and will be going on another 2 week or longer low dose cycle. The last two times Ive done this Ive made some great gains. I was off all supplements for 2 weeks. By next week I should be 5 or more pounds heavier and stronger as well. Failing a weight a few times doesnt even come close to discouraging me, just motivates me to KILL THAT SHIT more and more! I was plateaud with 315x4 for a year, so Im used to waiting it out. Its just a matter of time! Not what I would consider a strong day at all. But it still felt good. My eating was inconsistent this week and felt lightheaded during the routine. Heres the routine:

haha ThanX brother!! Theres always many failures before I reach a goal. Its driving me though! My reps were pretty minimal. Some days are just off. I will KILL THAT SHIT shortly!! ThanX again brother!!
