Kidney functionality questions

I realize this probably belongs on another board but the people on Anabolic seem to be the best informed when it comes to medical issues.

Lately I've been noticing that there's a high degree of froth when I urinate and I've been getting very mild pains in my upper-middle back (more of a slight aching) at times during the day. I haven't really experienced any other symptoms but am sort of worried about the froth since it indicates a high level of protein in the urine.

I'm not taking any AS and eat very well. I almost never drink, as well (less than once a month). I am taking creatine (and have been for a about 8 weeks) at a moderate dosage and eating a moderate amount of protein (1-2 grams per lb of BW). I drink MORE than enough water (1-2 gallons a day) to dilute my plasma, though.

Should I go get checked out or is this fairly normal? I'm worried that the doctors are going to tell me to stop eating a high protein diet/taking supplements simply because they have no better advice. When it comes to non-critical problems I've found the medical community to be basically worthless. I thought I'd come here first. Any natural ways to help kidney functionality/repair damage?

No comments? I'd really like to know if I should stop taking creatine or not or change my diet. Any advice would be appreciated...

If its CLOUDY, could be a UTI, it usually will have some flank pain associated with it.....i dont know what you mean by FROTHY, unless your talkin actually foamy or something! Stop the creatine and see what happens.

not really frothy but that bubbling shit that happens? It basically just foams a lot in the urinal. I'll go get checked out. Hopefully it's just a UTI.

Thanks for the replies, though. Very appreciated.
