Kidney Beans nutritional value

I´ve recently bought a can of kidney beans, and the nutritional facts were

By 100 grams:

Fat 0.7 grams
Protein 6.1 grams
CARBS 12.2 grams
FIBER 6 grams

Now... imagine I can have 45 grams of carbs in a meal: I could be eating about 700 grams of kidney beans!

Is this information incorrect?? I really like them beans, though

i have a can of kidney beans and yes they have about that much carbs per 100g (mine say 15g carbs per 100g)

The can would easily serve one person and is a 400g can
that therefore becomes 60g of carbs per serving.

Kidney beans are a good carb choice cos they are low on the GI scale too!
