Let's say you make a personal loan/front to a guy a year ago. He doesn't pay you back.
For over a year you have tried to get the money back. He doesn't answer your calls, or messages, and when you finally get a hold of him, he makes up BS and says "give me a month".
You've given him over 1 year now with no interest. He continues to avoid calls and then mouths you off via text messaging saying he won't pay you back and there's nothing you can do.
Do you:
A) Call it quits and just give up?
B) Go to his house and confront and ask for full payment on the spot, and if he doesn't you knock him out?
I've tried all diplomatic avenues to get payment. Calling, leaving messages, being nice, getting other buddies to tell him to pay. He still doesn't.
Would you guys in this case knock him the fuck out and collect against will?
I'm tired of being nice. I lent him the money a year ago because he was broke and couldn't pay his rent. In Canada, it's a bitch to sue people and succeed without all sorts of evidence. Plus, this is the street, and he's a skid.
Do you just go after him and knock him out now?
BTW: You haven't been able to see him in person until now because you have been out of country. You've told him to give funds to your brother or your friend.
