yes. as you consume more water, the keytones passed through your urine will be more diluted. i may be wrong about this, but i believe you are either "in" or "out" of ketosis. you're not in heavy ketosis if you're stick is dark purple, it just means you're probably not drinking enough h2o. i know i've been in ketosis before but it doesn't show up on the sticks b/c i drink about 2 gallons of h20 per day. if you're following the diet accordingly you probably are in ketosis. i guess if you want to reassure yourself you could cut back on the water and give it a try.
