The rest of the world, with the exception of a a few right wing heads of government, is hoping for dear life that Bush won't be President nest year.

I'm pessimistic right now, incumbency is the Bush's greatest strength - and in war time and during a sense of a national crisis, incumbency is an overwhelming advantage.

John Edwards was kind of an unimaginative choice since just about everyone has been throwing his name around as a possibility since the primaries. Therefore no "new" energy injected into the enery-hungry Kerry campaign.

How's this for irony? Although Kerry has been selected to possibly help in the South, I predict that Kerry-Edwards will not win North Carolina, or ANY southern state.

Yeah, he is a pretty boy. Ironically, he is the first candidate for pres or vp I can think of that has an obese wife. Barbara Bush was large, but I don't think she was fat. Tipper was a little chubby, but cute.

Edward's wife is straight up fat.
