Yeah, I had to buy a new top a couple months ago...cost me about $600...bought a SuperTop (comes w/ all the metal pieces, and a front channel, wire frames for windows...everything!!!). Check out this website: http://www.4wd.com

When I save up some more money, I'm going to put a V8 in that bad boy!!! Also wanna jack it up a few more inches and get bigger super swampers!!!!

i had a suzuki samuri on 31x12.5 inch boggers. 6" of lift with rancho shocks(5000), shaved head, hipo cam, header, weber carb. i mud raced it, and have wooped many jeeps, never been beat buy one, with a 8000rpm readline, they had no chance.
also got 36" ground hawgs, but those are for when i hit the woods to go muddin.
right now its parked on the side of the house, raced arena truck with it twice. first year i came in third, second time i was the fastest on the track, but hit some doubles, and flipped forward, and landed right on my roof, left me pinned for 15 minutes, but it was a blast.

where do you get 32-36" tires? i got a ford ranger splash, and i would love to get a couple lift kits off ebay (they sometimes have new lift kits at 1/2 store price) and some 32 or 36 tires. but i can't find the tires anywhere.

anyway, would i need dual lifts (spacers & shocks) or would spacers alone suffice. i have 26"s right now, and wonder if the spacers alone would give me enough room for 32"s.

how do you deal with the odometor being wrong. is there a way to compensate for that.

i love the chat board. no thread can go 10 replies without veering into a totally different subject.

anyway, i think 10 points to start. you get 100 if you become a platinum member, and your karma doesn't count until you have at least 101 points.

umm, i ordered my tires from one of the 4WD magizines. about the lift, a splash is 2wd, so you really need a kit. youll need new shocks, and springs for the rear, and the front, i think youll need a bunch of little shit including springs, shocks, a-arms, maybe a bigger pitman arm, and probly a couple more. if you buy a kit, it will include front and rear, but youll spend somewhere around $700, and another $500 for install unless you do it yourself.
you might be able to get buy with a body 2"-3" body lift, the lift is cheap, but installation im not sure of.
and the speedometer can be fixed, i think its just a computer programming thing, but personally, id leave it alone, it odometer will rack up less millage.
