You can click on the karma button on the bottom of any post. Your vote of whether the post is good or bad effects people's Karma.

Not everyone is equal -- you have to have 100 posts before your Karma clicks count.

You get more Karmic power depending on three things: your post count, your join date, and most important, how much good karma you have. A longstanding member, with lots of posts and lots of good karma will wield major good and bad karmic power.

I can see some immature members thinking it would be funny to tryto give a MOD or a member they dont like a ton of bad karma, or somehting like that... Just a thought... is there anything to protect against such an occurance?
