Yea sounds like they are over-training a bit. It's a small muscle group; Curious what is your ARM work out anyway? Do you just stick to 2 excercises...
 
I have a separate arm day

works a lot better than doing them with another muscle group like chest/biceps or something.

my arm workout?
well i should say i have sever tendonitis in the elbow and i would much rather bench and do vack work then worry about my bis

the lst few weeks ive been able to do some direct work my weight are ridiculously low but then again i dont care

i hit lats almost every time i lift so after back work i do 2 all out sets of 15 maybe twice a week..when i say all out i use just enough weight so that my elbow doesnt hurt if it does i strip some weight off..
again i care much more about my bench/squat/dead then about having 20" arms
