just had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday..

OMG...hate to say it (I know I'll get flamed for this one) but damn, you guys are a bunch of babies!!



I had my wisdom teeth pulled while I was awake. No big deal! I think the dentist just had me take regular OTC stuff. I didn't really even need it. I ate spaghetti and garlic bread that night...back to regular food the next day.

Maybe I'm an anomaly or something...

i know that some people get it done when they're awake, i didnt

it was hard to eat because

1. the stitches prevented me from opening my mouth completely

2. i was bleeding quite a bit

3. they cut through some chewing muscles and those take a couple weeks to heal completely

4. i didnt want much food to get in the holes and then get infected

Science has created amazing drugs that eliminate pain.....I am all for supporting science.......

Jeremy...sounds like yours was much more complicated than mine. I could actually hear my teeth cracking and breaking! I've had cramps worse than that though!
