Just had a fucked up injection. Please advise.

ok, I just injected 300mg's of EQ into my right thigh. I have done many thigh injections and never had a problem so far. The needle went in fine and I then pulled back to check for blood. There was no blood so I continued to inject. After I pulled the needle out, blood poured from the spot. (usually there is barley any if any at all) It took about three napkins to stop the flow. While trying to stop the beeding I started to sweat profusley. I mean the sweat was dripping off of my forehead like I was in the middle of a cardio session. Now the bleeding has stopped but I already have a bruise at the site of injection and a lump there as well.

Does anyone know what could have happened? I have never expereinced an injection like this. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks- diesel420

You pierced veins/capilaries on the way in, but the tip of the pin didnt stop in one and why you got no blood when you aspirated. When you pulled out the pin it was like removing the plug and the pierced veins/capilaries bled. Then it was likely a combination of the blood/your mind and perhaps some of the EQ getting into the blood stream that caused the reaction.

I think this happens to all of us. I remember the 1st time i did it, I was freaking out, but later found out that i prob. punctured/went thru a vein. I also got the bruising and lump, but you'll be fine - just a little sore.

thanks for the info. Any idea as to why the immediate lump? is that the EQ just sitting there? or because of the pierced veins/capilaries?

Happened to me too and scared the shit out of me. I'd bet the bump is from bleeding under your skin until it clotted on it's own.

make sure hole is closed, cleaned and sealed

next massage your thigh slowly with some pressure until lump is slowly dispersed.

you may have lost some eq with the blood

yup happens all the time with me too. Then the next time I just shoot below the black spot and I will miss the vein
