Just got some Platemates

So while my wife went to Trader Joe's I stopped by the fitness store next door just to dilly dally around.

They had a '50% off' table and lo and behold I see these 1 1/4 lb Platemates for sale. Usually 16$.

Well when I go to buy them I'm chatting with the guy and he was nice enough to say 'Aw hell I'll just charge ya 5$'. Sweet.

So now I can go up in 2.5 lb increments

They must be wafer thin. Remember not to leave them at the gym.

Actually they're about as thick as a 5lb plate, just small in diameter. Magnetized one one side so I can slap 'em just about anywhere.

But yeah I'm always leaving stuff at the gym, just another thing to keep track of now.

Still, it should help me next week, my last 2 workouts of the 5 x 5 (Wk 9). I don't think I can go up 5lbs on my 1/3 x 3 bench press.
