You should have went to an immediate care clinic, not the ER. It would have been faster and cheaper, too, they can prescribe stuff

I thought about that. All I needed was the fluids really, the anti nausea stuff was nice, but I could have gotten by without it. It was a Saturday though and I didn't know of any local clinics that were open. All i needed was someone to start and IV on me and a couple liters of fluids. I'm curious to see the bill for this ER trip come through.

Real, fo real alcohol poisoning can be pretty dangerous I hear. Many times people roll on their stomach and choke themselves to death with their own vomit.

Closest I ever came to being in trouble with booze was when my friend and I each drank over a fifth of Beam and took methadone. I slept until 6 p.m. the next day and had cold sweats until halfway through the next week.
