Just drove the BMW 335i.

So, the M5 is in for it's standard maintanance deal and they gave me a 335i for the week even though I have another car to drive.

Has the turbo 3.0L I6, 300hp.

This little car can move. A very impressive car. Doesn't have the top end the M5 has, but shorter gearing makes the acceleration sensation almost comparable. It's definitley a fun car.


If this was my own car, I'd put on the dinan S2 performance package for an extra 100hp and make it a real beast.


Definitely a great car and the interior is really nice, just like any BMW has always had.

I own its little brother, the 135i and so far so good. No it cant compare to the M5 except for the brakes: instead of having 2 pistons front/single rear it has 6 front, 4 rear stock .... lol

I'll most likely go with BMW parts so to keep my warranty safe. Suspension, exhaust, carbon fiber air intake. Then I'll see. I dont miss my Audi TT at all even if I traded an AWD for RWD.
