just did my first quad injection!

finally!.....i ballsed up and hit my quad. it was so sweet i didnt even feel the needle at all....went in like butta baby. i was needing to rotate injections sites bad but i was scared to stick a needle in my leg. shoulders were always no problem except the fact im starting to get so big its hard just reaching over there,and as you can imagine i have to bend my ass like a pretzel to be able to hit my glute,which is no good especially for aspiration. so anyway i did an elite search and read some threads to save yall my ?'s and just did it. know ye that quad injections are of devine decent straight from mount olympis. hey....any karma for saving yall the trouble and finally being a man?

yeah, karma for quad injections. easy access and slides right in. can't walk for a day or so when you first start sust....but that feels good to me.

yeah, its slides right in nice. but like you said, it sure hurts like a mofo the next day. i'll take an easy inject and a painful next few days, over a painful injection anyday.

ya but if you go in slow you can always feel if you are about to hit something.

Just take a look at a medical diagram first.

Then, do not inject if you feel a "thump" when you put the needle in.

That should take care of most problems with quad injections.

What do you mean by thump? I've pierced nerves a couple times and don't really feel a difference when its going in (but I dart the needle)...

If you inject near or through a nerve, you will usually see a physical jump at the injections site and you will feel a small spasm.

Yeah, tell me about it (actually, it's more of an annoyance than hurt -- it's the days afterwards when you can't walk that suck).

I was just wondering if there was a way you knew before it was done; I'm ususally almost all the way in (in which case, I generally don't pull out because I'm already through the nerve), or all the way in before I know I hit one.

I've done a lot of reading and looked at a lot of pictures and charts (including 2Thick's site, Spot Injections, medical manuals, etc.) and still don't have a method for avoiding quad nerves 100% of the time.

If there's a magic formula, somebody give it me... lol...

yeah I hate it when you hit a nerve I remember the first time it happened to me in the glute I jumped so fast I anearly climbed the wall in my bathroom. Yeah i am about ready to gather up the guts to try a thigh shot. A few buddys of mine swear by them. I guess Iam going to give it a try this thursday.

Not much but it might help! After you inject into your quad - when you feel the "pain" starting "tighten" your quad for a few minutes at least 4 times per hour. then do some lunges with no weights. The pain is nowhere near as bad as when I do not do those things above. If I do not do that I will hobble around like a man with one leg shorter than the other.

I do exactly the same, no problems. If I hit a nerve I only feel a difference, otherwise it's completely painless.

Pain from sust the next day?? I just shoot 250MG per injection (twice a week), no problem next day. Once I did 500MG in 1 shot, I had pain for 2 days.

Just heat up the oil before injecting, and really slowly push-in the oil. Absolutely NO PAIN next day.
