Just a newb looking for some info

Hey guys I just signed up and have been reading through some good posts but I thought I would post and ask some questions. First off I am 30yrs old 5'9" 195lbs at around 18%bf the last time I checked. I have always gone to the gym since I was in high school, but I really did not start "bodybuilding" until I was around 25. I started training then with a friend of mine that was an amature bodybuilder and when he showed me how to lift with the proper form and get my diet better I made great gains in strength and size. Well for the last year or so I stopped making gains, my weight has remaind the same no mater what I eat or don't eat. I have been really thinking of starting a cycle but I want to learn as much as I can and make it as safe as possible. Well the thought of giving myself a shot makes me a bit nervous so I was thinking of just taking an oral like d-bol. Well in reading through lots of post it seems thats not the best or safest way to go. What do you guys think a guy like me should try to maybe pack on 25-30lbs of lean muscle. What has worked for some of you that you may recommend. My ultimate goal would be to weigh in at 200lbs and be around 10-12% bf. Thanks
 
Eating habits are going to be your main objective. A dbol only cycle will give you good strength with good weight gains but all water weight. Go off of it and your back to where you started pretty much. IMhingO I'd work on getting your BF down some before starting a cycle of anything. Give us more stats and maybe I or someone can give you more input. IE:
times a week working out
intensity
current eating habits
protein intake
water intake
etc..

There are alot of cycles you can run to gain lean mass a better question is what do you have or can you get? Testosterone is going to do the trick specialy because you have never takin anything. As far as taking a shot we all have been where you are so you will do just fine it just gets easier each time. I agree your body fat is on the high side and you would want to get that down because to get the most out of a cycle you are going to want to eat as much as possible and even if you eat clean you still want to get the BF% down 1st. Once you decide you are going for it a 12 week cycle at 500mgs per week is a good cycle and test only would be great.Dont forget PCT "Post Cycle Therapy" this is part of any cycle But take your time read up as much as possible and ask questions thats what we are here for... Oh and welcome to EF..
 
Yea my BF as been impossible for me to get off. Its just hard for me, like most, to stick with a meal plan thats good enough to get the fat off( I am working hard on that). I have considered tring to get lean just so I can see what I have built so far, but I would hate to put it back on while I was tring to add more muscle on. Thats why I thought I would try to get that last 25lbs of muscle, then cut down to the BF percentage I want to be. I usally get in the gym 4-5 days a week, for an hour to an hour and 15 then get out and eat. I don't stick to the monday is chest, tuesday is arms routine, I try and mix it up as much as possible along with my reps and weight. I probably get in 2800-3500 cals in a day, not real sure on that, I don't count them like I probably should. I get at least my weight in protien a day if not 1.5g per body weight, water intake is at least 80oz per day but I try for a gallon if I can get it all down. I don't smoke or drink alcohol, but I do drink at least a can or two of soda a day which I am tring to stop. Thanks for the help, I look forward to reading all your imput.
 
like stated above .. up your cals and protein

test only i would advise
if u wanna go all out test/dbol

they right though u should try and cut your bf% before starting

week 1-12 test e 250mg x2 ew
week 1-4 (6) d-bol 35mg ed
week 12-15 PCT???

The PCT is were I get kinda lost. So many different opinions on what to take and when to take it. I will keep researching, I just thought I would throw this out there and build on it. Thanks again guys for the help.
 
Just finished reading the sticky about PCT, it answered a lot of my questions, great info. There is a lot more to this then I once thought. I am glad I am doing some research.
 
google a pct calculator. using test e is a long ester which stays active in your blood for longer which means for 2 or so weeks past your last shot you're still "on". so you dont start pct then. join thesourcecheck.com and research needto's underground and he will organise everything for oyu.

I have never done a cycle. I am also here to learn. I would suggest you research diligently and in depth, especially on PCT. So just from the little I think I know. Test enanthate is a single-ester and long-acting form of the base steroid testosterone. From what I understand it stays in your system awhile. Something like 10-14 days give or take. I dont remember the exact timeframe. Anywho, having said that I would suggest "if" you decide to go with that cycle you have up, which to me looks pretty solid as far as first cycles go. I plan on doing something very similar if not exactly. then just go with 500mg of test e once a week. instead of 250mg twice a week. I dont think there is a reason to stick yourself twice a week when one would get you the same results. Also about that D-bol you got listed in your hypothetical cycle. You got (6) in there. Now im sure your not planning on doing that dose 6 times a day. I know you got that (6) there cause you might not be sure to run it into the 4th week or the 6th week. Im just saying incase there is any confusion. Do not do that dose of 35mg 6 times everyday. its 35mg once everyday. Like i said, i know you got it there becuase your not sure how many weeks to run it. But just in case. Ok, i would suggest you run it into week 4 seeing as this is your first cycle. Whatever you decide to do, dont run D-bol more then 6 weeks. It is very toxic to your liver. These are just my suggestions, like i mentioned earlier. I have never done a cycle and i am in the same boat as you. I am here learning. If any info I have given is wrong im sure it will be corrected by some huge green marvel character in an angry voice. by the way listen to him he knows what hes talking about. Oh and as far as PCT, Yeah that was making my head spin too. So far what I got on PCT is that you definetly want to run HCG, also known as Pregnyl, from what i understand it comes from a pregnant chicks uterus or placenta and its under debate wether or not it can be tested with a home pregnancy test. Im sorry thats neither here nor there but if you read up like you should then you will know exactly what i am talking about with that last comment. You should read every post, not just the ones that sound interesting to you, or that you searched for, try to read all of them, yes i realise there are like 170,000. lol good luck on that. Grrrrrrr sorry i have add. ok YES! you want to run HCG, you study up and figure out for how long and at what dose. I will just tell you the reason. Ok so your nuts are gonna stop producing testastorone cause your bodys like well this motherfucker is injecting it into me i dont need to make my own anymore. So your nuts will shrink out of pure disuse, kinda sorta. So thats the whole idea behind PCT. to get your body producing its own testasterone again. easier said then done. Well if you run HCG correctly while you are doing your cycle then your nuts wont shrink, your body will keep producing its own testasterone, therefore when your done with your cycle you wont have to worry about your nuts bieng all small and dead and not making its own testastarone, so you can keep gains better. This is my understanding of PCT. Run HCG in your cycle, theres alot more detail as far as when start and when to stop it during your cycle and at what dose. you cant run it the whole lenght of your cycle cause it will fuck something else up. the whole things something of a balancing game. Doses, vs, gains, vs, side effects, vs different doses of more stuff to stop more side effects. Anywho I apologize cause i realise im rambling now. Its been a long day.
