June 8 - Aug 1 Back Progress pics

Heres some progress pics from june 8th until tonight... August 1st..

I started bulking in the end of june and have gone from a lean 176 (which i dietted down to from 197) and have now bulked back up to 187 lbs.

I'm only showing back shots as an example... EATING IS LIKE STEROIDS PEOPLE...

Is it just me or does my back look significantly bigger (kinda smooth tho :P )

My gut is a bit bigger.. but I am getting stronger FAST!

Nice work, yeah you do look a little softer (not much though), however definately a couple extra ibs of muscle on your back. You've gained more lbm than water and fat.
 
looks bigger and smoother. maybe gaining weight a little too fast (11 lbs in 3 wks?). waist is definately bigger. adjust your calories accordingly and keep working hard.

This always happens to me.... Last year I went from 178-200 in a month...
I have things a little more under control this year and as soon as my knee heals I will naturally drop a bit of body fat due to being able to squat and do leg work again...

Looks like some DFHT results bro!

I'd love to say it was from DFHT, but I stopped using the routine probably near the end of june... It wasn't that it wasn't working, and Im sure if i was bulking I'd pack on a ton of good CLEAN weight with it due to the volume, but I had to make something up temporarily, as my knees are totally screwed, and I figured if I'm going to DFHT properly, I want to be able to get all the lifts in.. So in the mean time while my knees heal, I've been doing 2 upper body workouts a week, which i took from DFHT, and one very light low set leg day.... My 2 upper body workouts consist of a lot less volume as my triceps are bothering me pretty badly and absolutely no direct tricep work...



Bones, promise us you're not going to cut again until next summer. You've got a big year ahead

Don't plan on cutting again until may 1st 2004. HOPING to weigh in over 205-210 lbs(maybe more)... as last year i bulked to 205... I'm aiming to work on my weaknesses, which in my mind are my pecs, biceps and lats...

Gunna get a good weigh in tomorrow.. hoping to be 188+ but we'll have to wait and see...

My only big concern abot bulking is I dont want the swolen face to come back... I HATE IT... Seems to just show up one day... out of the blue...

How's the knee going?

The knee is a lot better.... I stretch it A LOT every day...
Tracking is starting to get back to normal and my ITB and hamstring are starting to loosen up a bit.... Hoping to be able to full squat again (starting light of course) by mid september...

I'm not taking ANY risks on tightening things back up again... I want to be able to do this for a long time..

I hate back double bi shots... I look so skinny.. lol...
Anyways.. I didn't have anybody here to take the pictures so i had to use the timer on my camera.. these were taken cold.. 30 seconds ago.. lol... I was still 187lbs as of yesterday

It looks like one of my lats inserts lower than the other.... does anybody else have a similar problem?
 
Not too sure about the lat insertion question..but heck, your getting bigger...now bulk all winter to 270 and play football...

;)
