I just wanted to know if any of you are in this situation, I live in an appartment complex and when I have packages sent here they do not come to my door so the mail person takes it directly to the Managers office and they sign for it and keep it there and then put a thing in my mailbox to tell me I have a package and I go up there and pick it up, so the package was never signed by me but it was signed for by whoever is working in the office so how would this effect my deliveries and pickups since I never signed for the package and can they just come in my appartment and start looking around since Im renting.??? Just Confused

all i'm sayin is ifyour gonna have your gear mailed to your own residence cover your ass best you can,the obvious is to go to mbe and get a po box,but an apt cpmplex is an ideal place to get deleiveries,i have a friend who manages an apt complex i have all my gear sent there to the unit they use for their model, postman just put's note in box that there is a package in the office,i just walk in take it off the shelf no one not even the employees have a clue granted this is a 400 unit complex that helps,so if he use's a fake name gets a note in his box goes to office picke up package take it back to apt leave it unopened a couple days he's totally in the clear,if they do bust in package is sitting on the table with someone else's name on it,fuck it's an apt how many people have lived there prior to him.

if i'm reading your quesiton correctly, you're asking if they "the apartment complex employees" can come into your apartment and just start looking around since you are renting. the answer is FUCK NO THEY CAN'T.

even in most (but not all) maintances issues they need your preission to enter you apartment. they will usually have you sign a "maintance" waiver which is included in your lease.

as for your mail. they are not allowed to open that either so there is no way of them knowing what's being delivered. even if they sing for your mail, they are not allowed to open it.
