juice and surgery

i need to have surgery soon. on the form i had to fill out it asked if i ever took cortisone and steroids. why is this question on there? i really want to start my cycle, but this has made me apprehensive. should i wait until after the surgery to start my cycle?

The question about cortisol/steroids is just as a basic background item, as usage of these compounds can indicate a previous and serious inflammation problem... but it's not really a biggie. Just there for posterity.

At any rate, talk to your doctor if you're currently on, or have come off within the last several months.

Some steroids can increase RBC counts and they can also have drug interactions (very few). Be honest with your doctor. It is a Dcotor/Patient privelege. He needs to know all the facts. Many times, patients are put on steroids following surgery for wound healing and to speed recovery.

I have had surgery and anaesthesia while on with no complications. Healed pretty quick to. Doc even made a comment to the fact. Still a good idea to tell the Doc. I didnt.
