Joint Pain

I was doing bench presses tonight at 270x5, 280x4, and 285x4 and on the last set the area I guess where the delt ties in with the pec muscle started to like burn. I did inclines afterwards and it still hurt somewhat but not as bad. If i up my EFA fat intake will it help with the join pain somewhat??

Increased EFAs will reduce joint pain a little, but not in the acute way that something like, say, taking a week off would. I've never personally noticed an acute anything from pills of any sort. If I were feeling tendonitis or joint pain, I'd work around it and give it a rest for a week or two, changing to lighter weights for a week or 2, or increase stretching etc. Use the EFAs as maintenance and take them regardless of acute joint pain. Maintenance.

Throw in some MSM / glucosamine / chondroitin - of the 3 (if you can't get the whole mix) I use MSM religiously - has helped w/ many aches & pains over the years - it takes a while to kick in and is just something I include in my pill pile regularly . It doesn't just "fix things" if you take it for a few days. Also consider including liquid minerals, colloidal minerals.
