Bought my first handgun the other day, Springfield Armory XD-9 Service Model. Took it to the range once, need to work on my grip some, but I can say that I am consistent where I shoot(either slightly up and to the left or down and to the right, trying to adjust grip so have to find a happy medium).

Already addicted, planning my next purchase... Springfield XD-45 ACP. 13+1 rounds of goodness in a narrower grip than glock offers for a high cap 45. I like glocks, they are proven, but I have small hands and they don't fit the glock so well, pretty natural/comfortable with the SA XD line.

Well off to run some errands and hit the range again! Plan on getting my ccw later, but live in a state where it is legal to open carry in your car.

Loving the XD. Had studied laws in my area thoroughly and continue to do so.

Plan on also getting a Subcompact model for easier cc, not sure if i'll go 9mm again or .40 cal.

The 45 acp is gonna be the fun one though

get a Glock 36, will fit your hands for sure !
