You can look at things at this level, and scientifically there may be something to discuss, but practically it is a worthless discussion. In practice gaining/losing weight boild down to calories in vs calories out, it's that simple.
People are going to ask why you're jogging while bulking. I know where you are coming from with the thinking (mostly from reading some of your posts over the last few days).....again, I think you're too smart for your own good, lol....what you're trying to do (burn off excess fat and grow muscle in one shot) doesn't work, it can work for somebody obese or totally untrained for a period I guess. It won't work for you. This stuff has some basis at an insignificant level, meaning scientifically you'll be able to make sense of it and it sounds good, but practically it is garbage.
thats why you're too smart for your own good....in ANY other area, you'd be on the right track, in the art (not science) of growin' muscle, lol, all that matters is practical RESULTS, and from practical experience I can tell you that you're on a long, frustrating road to nowhere if you're trying to gain muscular bodyweight with these methods.
Just eat man, put a little fat on, and cut it off later.
